ACEO *Gold Nugget Squash* Original Painting in Acrylics on ACEO Fine Canvas Panel, 3.5 x 2.5
Browsing through all the little squash and gourds at the grocery stores, one has a problem picking which to buy! They are all so pretty and so different. This little Gold Nugget Squash may be cooked and eaten (very sweet, fine-grained and smooth, so they say) and now that I've painted it, I'm looking forward to doing just that. Painting it was very enjoyable! I love the orange blends and added a couple of small yellow maple leaves on the shadowed side. It is painted in detail with luscious warm colors...and brush-coated with a satin finish for protection. Initialled on the front, signed and dated on the back along with the title and medium used.
