ACEO *Cosmos* Original Painting in Watercolor 2.5 x 3.5 inches.
Painted on 140-lb Cold Press Watercolor Paper. Shown are two lovely pink Cosmos, in detail, with a smaller one in the shadows, plus buds here and there in the greenery. The flowers are painted in bright sun with stark shadows. In the shadows one can see luminous warm pink reflections. The centers are touched with yellow-orange acrylic, and the greens vary from pale olive to dark green, phalo blue and ultramarine blue. Sprayed with a light fixative coating for protection. An Original Painting in Watercolor on Stonehenge paper. One dark red tulip from my own spring photos is painted here. I took the photos when my tulips were enjoying the morning sunlight on my kitchen windowsill. Lightly sprayed with fixative for protection, it is initialled on the front and signed and dated on the back, along with the title and medium used.
