*Red Pear with Leafy Branch* - SOLD

*Red Pear with Leafy Branch* original painting 4x4

Painted in acrylics on smooth gessoed masonite, this red pear was purchased from a display at the grocery because of it's beautiful coloring ~ painted standing in a corner of my counter, with light coming from the window to the right. The pear is actually a luscious darker red than the photo shows. Our weather today was not the best for picture-taking. Background is made up of light green with a touch of blue, and a little pale yellow ochre. Simple and lovely, in a realistic style, and brush-coated with a satin finish for protection. Would look well in a 4x4 lined frame. Signed on the front and also on the back with title and medium used. Click title above to bid on eBay, thank you.

ACEO *Gold Nugget Squash* Original Painting - SOLD

ACEO *Gold Nugget Squash* Original Painting in Acrylics on ACEO Fine Canvas Panel, 3.5 x 2.5
Browsing through all the little squash and gourds at the grocery stores, one has a problem picking which to buy! They are all so pretty and so different. This little Gold Nugget Squash may be cooked and eaten (very sweet, fine-grained and smooth, so they say) and now that I've painted it, I'm looking forward to doing just that. Painting it was very enjoyable! I love the orange blends and added a couple of small yellow maple leaves on the shadowed side. It is painted in detail with luscious warm colors...and brush-coated with a satin finish for protection. Initialled on the front, signed and dated on the back along with the title and medium used.

ACEO *Red Pear on Windowsill* - SOLD

ACEO *Red Pear on Windowsill* 2.5 x 3.5 inches
This ACEO is an Original Painting in Acrylics on a gessoed canvas board. It was one of the pears I bought to eat...the others were in a bowl but I painted the one I had set on the sill to ripen, just because it looked so pretty there with the light coming in all around it. I love pears in particular, but use that sill for flowers, plants and fruit of all kinds.

ACEO *California Poppies* - SOLD

ACEO *California Poppies* Original Painting, Acrylic 3.5 x 2.5
As I was growing up, we had a bed of these poppies next to the outdoor steps leading to our kitchen. They were the bright spot of my morning, just as they are for Californians in the rolling coastal hills of the Pacific landscape. California Poppies are a favorite everywhere! This painting was brush-coated with a protective satin finish, giving it a softly-finished glow. Save on shipping with my ACEOs - two shipped for the price of one...and thanks for considering my auctions.

Another beautiful little ACEO original acrylic painting on Cold Press Illustration Board ~ the first plum picked from a family tree this summer, so perfect and so pretty in shape and color that I wanted to preserve it in a painting before enjoying the juicy sweet flavor. *Fancy in Blue* Magnet

A fun thing to post...this colorful round magnet (2 1/4" across) was done from one of my painted bears (see my older posts) and looks so cute on my refrigerator that I thought someone else might enjoy her "portrait" as much as I do! My handpainted beanie bears sell on auction on eBay. You might see this originally painted bear in one of my links (on my "Me* page on eBay) to my online free albums, where I've put photos of so many of them. They are very enjoyable to see, all different, and all sold. Sob!..I never have one left for myself...but some day I will paint one just for me :)

Two Tulips on My Windowsill

Each spring, my sister shares her beautiful garden tulips with me, and I enjoy placing them on my kitchen windowsill in the morning sunshine, in a variety of glasses and vases. This little ACEO was painted with pastel pencils of the very last two this year, bright pinky/red, in a blue tulip sundae glass. They were finally fading and barely able to stand...goodbye all my cheery little friends, until next spring when we'll meet again...

ACEO Montana Mountain Afternoon - SOLD

An original oil ACEO painting on illustration board, this is only one of the many spots reminiscent of the hiking and fishing days of my past. It is a lovely, very detailed, late afternoon scene in the mountains and meadows of western Montana ~ a small corner of our Montana Big Sky country. Painted in oils 2.5 inches X 3.5 inches. A possible stormy evening is just beginning to show between the two hills, but the sunlight is still bright on the foreground. ACEOs are a fun, petite and inexpensive collectible. Search on eBay for aceo originals and prints...

A few of the painted beanbag bears... - SOLD

This is Little Miss Sunshine, a dye-painted and decorated beanbag bear which I sold on eBay recently. I've been doing these beanbags for eight or nine years and have sold many hundreds during that time, each one different and original ~~ enjoying myself immensely! Some buyers have large collections of them and love them dearly, as I do until they leave me. This one is painted with sunflowers, front and back, a gold filigree crown on her head. Painted butterflies and a bow complete her appearance.
